Congratulations Lisa & Paul!!! (Sneak Peek!)

Hello Fans!

This past weekend, Milana Photography had the pleasure of photographing and videographing the Wedding of Lisa & Paul! The Ceremony was at Founder's Hall, and the Reception followed immediately after at Roswell River Landing.

It was such a fun Wedding!! I know that Lisa & Paul are ecstatic to see their pictures, and to ease their excitement, here's a fun photo of them during the famous Jewish Horah dance, a.k.a. "the chair dance."

Doesn't that look super duper fun???

Full Blog post will follow in a few weeks with lots of photos and details of the Wedding, including the crazy story of how I caught the flu during the photoshoot. hehe. And yes, I am writing this Blog post from my bed...surrounded by a sea of tissues, a cold towel on my forehead and countless empty cups with left-over lemons from my tea. Happy New Year & Happy New Website!!

Hello Fans!

I just wanted to wish everyone out there a very very very Happy New Year! I wish you all the best things in life this year. Hope you accomplish everything you dream of and even more!

My baby girl was born on New Year's Eve, so we had a lot more to be thankful for...she just turned 1! They grow up so fast! We had such an amazing birthday party, followed by an awesome New Year's Eve party! Good times :)

Also, I started off the New Year just right! I designed a new logo for Milana Photography AND I designed a brand new Website!! Yeay go me! Along with my dieting and working out, I'm on a roll! That's the perfect way to start off the New Year :) Let's just hope I keep up with everything, hehe.

I'm super duper excited about all of my upcoming Weddings this year. I love Weddings! Have I mentioned that before? Because I really really really LOVE Weddings! On top of the ones I have booked, more bookings are coming in daily...so exciting! The website has only been up for a few days, but I'm already getting so much feedback. I LOVE IT!!

Meet Diana!

Hello Fans!

I'd like for you to meet Diana! She's a cool chick and just turned 12 years old!

For her big Bat-mizvah party, Diana wanted to take some great photos. And so we did :)

We had lots of outfit changes and hair styles and had lots of fun! In the end, I made her a photo slideshow with her own choice of music and she was able to play the DVD on loop throughout her entire party. It was a big hit!

Destination Engagement in Jacksonville, FL!

I had such a wonderful opportunity to go to Jacksonville and shoot an Engagement Session! I wasn't really into blogging at the time when I shot the photos, but since I am now, I really wanted to show off my work.

Vicky & Ron were so much fun to be with. We drove down to Florida together and had such a wonderful time. It felt like a vacation with good old friends! Vicky & Ron had always planned on getting married at the beach, but when they found out that it wasn't feasible for them to do so, they decided to do their E-Session on the beach instead. I was so excited, I jumped on that opportunity right away!

Lisa & Gordon's Engagement Sneak Peek!

Hello Fans!

What a great weekend! I had such a great time at the Bridal Show on Saturday. I met tons of potential brides and made some great vendor connections as well. I consider it a great success :)

And what could top that? A super fun Engagement Session of course! I had such a blast with Lisa & Gordon. We did the shoot at Stone Mountain and we were blessed with the most perfect weather! Beautiful blue skies, not too cold, not too hot...just perfect! We even rode the skylift and took some awesome photos on top of the mountain! I feel like we spent all day there and we still ran out of time! The sun was going down so quickly, but we were able to get some cool night shots as well. Thank Goodness for all of the X-mas lights that were already lit up all over the place.

Lisa and Gordon are such a sweet couple. I love how they are sooo in love! I cannot wait until their Wedding next May, yeay!

Happy Halloween Everyone!

Hello Fans!

Hope everyone had a very nice and enjoyable Halloween! I had a great one! Every year all of my friends and I get together and throw a really awesome Halloween Party. The only catch is...costumes are a MUST! It's just no fun without them :)

I also got a chance to finally carve a pumpkin and bake my very first pumpkin pie! It wasn't all too bad, I think I definitely need to use less eggs next time. I followed the recipe to the tee, but still, I think my pie almost tasted like flan! Haha.

I usually don't do very many personal blogs, but I thought this time I would let you take a peek inside my world...my daughter :) I did a small photoshoot of her in her Winnie the Pooh costume in my front yard. She looked sooo cute!

Sneak Peak at April & Scott's Wedding!

Hello Fans!

I just recently shot a Wedding for a very lovely couple, April & Scott. They were married last weekend in Marietta, at the beautiful Whitlock Inn. The weather was just perfect! I had so much fun at their Wedding and I wish it would have lasted just a few more hours. They are such a super sweet couple and I wish them nothing but the best things in life :)

By the way, how do I get so lucky with such nice and sweet couples? Seriously...I'm so very blessed! Keep 'em comin'...

Wow, this summer has been AMAZING!!! So many Weddings!!! But you know what that means? So much cake...so much dancing...so much kissing...and of course..so much L-O-V-E-! Gotta love it...para-pa-pa-pa.

Professional Athlete Photoshoot

We met up at a local park in Atlanta and picked some very cool spots to set up several small photoshoots. We even had a few outfit changes to mix things up!

Once the photos are edited, they will be posted on his personal website. Sorry for the teaser, but I really want to adhere to his privacy and cannot reveal very much information.

I was just so thankful for the opportunity and I'm so glad his agency found me.

2 Back 2 Back Wedding Extravaganza!!!

Hello Fans!

I just had an amazing weekend! Wow 2 weddings in one weekend.

In a few words, I would describe them both as...awesome, fun, exciting, sweet & beautiful! I always feel so lucky to be present on that special day! Especially when they're doing their vows and I'm up close and personal with them, I feel as if I can hear their hearts beating..it's so special! I really love it!

Congratulations to Jacquanna & Akhenaton and also Amy & Trevor!!!

On another note, I also want to congratulate Shahina & Chris on their new addition to their family! I was there to take photos of their beautiful family and I will post photos of that soon as well. Baby Yasir is so handsome! Congrats happy couple!

So you think I only shoot weddings huh? No way! If you have an event you want me to shoot, Bring It On! I just finished up shooting a 50th Birthday Party at Club Opera here in Atlanta and it was way too much fun!

They had a 70's theme party and everyone was dressed up and had tons of fun. They even had go-go dancers and they just added to the excitement of the night. Great decorations, great food, great music...what more do you need to have a great party? Check out the photos below to see just how much fun they all had!

A lot going on lately! I just finished up shooting a big 50th Birthday party this past weekend.

It was such a fun party. The theme was "Saturday Night Fever" and everyone was dressed up & looked so fabulous! I will share a few photos soon. It was definitely one heck of a party!

I LOVE my job! I've been meeting so many new and wonderful couples lately. It's so great to see so many people in love :) And then after a short meeting, when they decide to hire me, the joy it brings to my heart is unbelievable. I think it's so amazing when they put all their trust in me and let me photograph their special day! Is there a greater honor?? Don't think so!

I just booked 2 lovely couples last week and they're both getting married this June. It's a very popular month. I myself got married in June :)

Snow Storm in March

Yes, that's right. A snowstorm in March! Just as it happened in March of 1993, we got hit by a snowstorm less than a week ago.

Atlanta is known for very unpredictable weather. It snowed on Sunday and the temperature was in the low 20s, today is only Friday and it's about 75 degrees and sunny. Go figure!
